So it’s Amazon Prime Day. (Well, technically it runs from July 8–11)

And honestly?

Not a whole lot that’s catching my eye right now.

A lot of “deals” feel like marked-up stuff that have been discounted.

BUT there are a couple of items that are genuinely worth considering, especially if you travel.

Here’s what I’ve got:

​1. Slim Anker Travel Adapter​

This is one of the most compact travel adapters I’ve found, and it’s finally on sale for Prime Day.

Normally: $25.99

Prime Day price: $19.99

It’s got:

• Built-in plugs for UK, EU, Asia and Australia
• 2 USB-C + 2 USB-A ports + Outlet
• Works in 200+ countries
• All-in-one design = no extra adapters needed

I bought it last month at full price and still don’t regret it. But now that it’s $6 cheaper...

It’s super thin, much smaller than the usual bulky bricks.

Definitely recommend if you’re tired of carrying multiple adapters or constantly forgetting the right one.

​2. Ultrahuman Ring AIR​

I’ve been wearing the Ultrahuman Ring AIR for about a year now, and it’s helped me track and optimize my sleep when I'm jet lagged; now, with the newborn, it's been helpful as well.

The thing I love about it is there is no monthly subscription for the ring.

• Use just ONE Amex Membership Rewards point at checkout
• Get up to 15–50% off your entire purchase

Not everyone gets the full 50%, though. I only got 15%, but it’s still free money.

​4. Don’t know what to buy? Buy gift cards.​

If you’re not really shopping but still want to take advantage of the offers, gift cards are your friend.

• You can’t buy Amazon gift cards with the Amex deal I mentioned above.
• But you can buy things like Uber, Uber Eats, DoorDash, Southwest, Airbnb, etc.
• Most of these are “shipped and sold by Amazon,” so the Amex discount should apply

There’s also a separate Prime Day promo on Uber / Uber Eats gift cards.

​5. AirTags Lowest Price Ever​

A four pack of AirTags are on sale again at their lowest price ever

Bonus: Check price history with CamelCamelCamel

Just because something says Prime Day Deal doesn’t mean it’s the best price ever. Before you buy, head to camelcamelcamel.com (yes, the name is ridiculous) and paste in the Amazon link.

You’ll see the full price history of that product and whether it’s actually at an all-time low or just pretending.
