This week, we’ve got some new transfer bonuses, an underrated card combo, and a limited-time 60,000 points bonus with a $300 travel credit. Let's get into it!

In this Newsletter:

40% Transfer Bonus to Virgin Atlantic: Book Smart, Not Speculative

Virgin Atlantic is currently offering a 40% transfer bonus from this credit card issuer, which might sound tempting, but here’s the deal—Virgin Atlantic is set to make some changes to their award program in just a couple of weeks. So, I wouldn’t recommend transferring your points speculatively. Instead, only transfer them if you’ve got a solid redemption plan in place.

If you’re ready to book, there are some great options to take advantage of

Delta domestic flights: LAX-JFK
16,000 points + $5.60 in economy (one-way)

Air France or KLM flights: ATL-CDG
42,000 points + $289 in business class (one-way)

LATAM flights to Lima: JFK-LIM
36,000 points + $55 (one-way)

Those are just a few options to give you some inspiration. I'd avoid booking Virgin Atlantic flights because the taxes and fees can be pretty high.

HOW TO BOOK:

1. Search availability on the Virgin Atlantic website.

2. Transfer your points

3. Complete your booking on Virgin Atlantic’s site.

This combo lets you save even more on flights between cities like Atlanta, Dallas, Detroit, Chicago, Austin, Los Angeles, Miami, and Houston—starting at just 12,500 points with the transfer bonus!

Underrated Card Combo:
Capital One Venture X + SavorOne

video preview

Looking for a card combo that delivers serious value? The Capital One Venture X and Capital One SavorOne pair is one of the best, especially if you love to travel and enjoy dining out!

Capital One Venture X is the ideal travel card. With 2x miles on every purchase and 10x miles on hotels and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel, it’s perfect for maximizing your points on the go. Plus, you get perks like Priority Pass lounge access, travel credits, and no foreign transaction fees. It’s built for travelers who want flexibility and top-tier benefits.

Capital One SavorOne shines for everyday spending. You earn 3% cashback on dining, groceries, entertainment, and popular streaming services. But here’s the kicker—you can convert that cashback into miles and stack it with your Venture X rewards. This means that even your everyday expenses help you earn more miles for your next trip!

This combo covers your travel needs with Venture X and boosts your rewards for food, groceries, and dining with SavorOne. It’s a smart way to maximize rewards across the board.

There’s a great new offer on a popular travel card, and here’s what you get:

60,000 bonus points after spending $4,000 in the first three months.

$300 in travel credits to use in the card’s travel portal within the first year, applied automatically to travel purchases.

Some ways you can use the 60,000 points:

17 nights at a Hyatt Category 1 hotel
10 short United flights booked through Air Canada Aeroplan
6 medium-distance United flights booked via Air Canada Aeroplan
4 economy flights to Europe through Flying Blue
2 nights at a Hyatt Category 7 hotel
1 business class flight to Europe through Flying Blue

So, there are plenty of ways to maximize 60,000 points. As for the $300 travel credit, you can use that for hotels, flights, and car rentals in the credit card's travel portal.
